MATH LINE-UP

A Pringle’s can oricing can and poker chips are all you’ll need to make this game.  Write the numerals 1-25 (or howevermany children there are in your room) on the chips.  Cut a 2”x ½” slit in the lid and insert the chipsinside.  When it’s time to line up,pass the can around and have each child select a chip.  The child with “1” on her chip linesup, followed by the child with “2,” and so on.  (The child with “1” could collect the chips as the otherchildren line up.)

*To vary this,line up by odd numbers, then even numbers.

*Call out mathproblems and the child with the answer lines up.

Hint!  Write number words on the back of thechips.
